A room-by-room visual survey, thermal imaging of walls and ceilings, contact moisture readings on linings, framing and slab, subfloor and roof space checks, and a review of ventilation, drainage and any past leaks or floods. Findings are recorded with photos and readings rather than opinions.
The written report
You get a report naming the affected materials and areas, the likely moisture source, the readings that support it, and a recommended scope of work. That report is what homeowners take to their insurer and what builders and loss adjusters scope a claim against.
When to book one
Before buying or listing a property, after a leak or storm, when a musty smell lingers with nothing visible, when a tenant complains, or when an insurer asks for an assessment before approving a claim. If you already know what needs removing, we can move straight to remediation.
